Surprise! The battery is stuck under the front frame of the car. I can't find what is holding it in there, other than the bolts you jump start it with. Otherwise, we can't figure out how to remove it. Are these what are holding the battery in? Any suggestions on how to get it out of there (without having to have it towed to a mechanic) would be greatly appreciated. How do you replace the battery in a 2001 Buick Century?Stand in front of the car in front of the battery. Reach across the battery and then down the long side of the battery that faces the passenger compartment.
Right in the middle, down at the bottom of the battery, you will find a bolt head. Loosen or take that off and your battery should then pull straight up.
Make sure you put that back on the new battery because that's the only thing holding the battery in place. How do you replace the battery in a 2001 Buick Century?Make sure you put that back on the new battery because that's the only thing holding the battery in place...

What are the two rubber pieces near the converter on both sides on a 89 Buick LeSabre?
I looked under my car where the catylic converter is,on the left and right side there is a thick rubberlike o'ring that holds the converter up,I also noticed that there are little cracks in the o'rings and I wonder do they need to be changed. Also,I can push up on the the bracket which connects the pipe to the converter and when i do that,it makes the sound of the car much better.Do I have a serious or minor problem here? What are the two rubber pieces near the converter on both sides on a 89 Buick LeSabre?Right where you pushed up, wrap a piece of wire clothes hangar around the pipe and tie it up to the frame above somewhere. Then simply wait and as long as it holds up your good to go in my opinion. What are the two rubber pieces near the converter on both sides on a 89 Buick LeSabre?i have a 88 olds and i think your talking about the exhaust hanger. the exhaust pipe is suppose to move on front wheel drives. just take something and wrap around it, to take the strain off of it, until you get the chance to change the hanger.kasich

If you are mechanically inclined at all it is very easy. When you remove the old one you will have learned how to install it. Just the reverse of removing it. Make sure you clean the gasket area well. Place the new one on that comes with the pump then install the bolts and tighten one at a time opposite each other until tight.

Where is the fuel filter located on a 1994 Buick Skylark?
Does this car only have one fuel filter? Thank you in advance!Where is the fuel filter located on a 1994 Buick Skylark?yes, only 1 fuel filter and it's behind the gas tank just above the rear axle on the passenger side.Where is the fuel filter located on a 1994 Buick Skylark?Prior to removal be sure to depressurize the fuel line, by removing the fuel pump relay and trying to start car. This can prevent getting sprayed with gas. Yes there is one filter under the car in the main gas line.Where is the fuel filter located on a 1994 Buick Skylark?off the top of my head it is in attached to the floor on the underside of the car right near the rear axle!! On the passenger side too i believe. Soak it with WD40 or what have you, before attempting to remove it as usually the bolts are very rusted and dont want to come undone!! Its best to soak the bolts the day before attempting to remove it to give it lots of time to loosen up the bolts. And a few trips out to the car and spraying again wont hurt either. And YES there is only the one filter, looks kinda like a pop can with fittings coming out of both ends. Make sure the arrow on your new filter points towards the engine or away from the fueltank.
How do you remove the housing on a 91 buick roadmaster to replace tail light bulb?
I opened the rear door and removed two screws that seemed to be holding in the housing but it still will not come out. It's almost as if there's some kind of clip or something still holding it in place. Any ideas would be great...don't feel like getting/paying a ticket over something that be so simple. Thanks in advance for help! How do you remove the housing on a 91 buick roadmaster to replace tail light bulb?should be about 5 or 6 plastic wing nuts holding the complete light assembly in, take all wing nuts off and pull complete assembly out of the car and then you can access the bulbs. How do you remove the housing on a 91 buick roadmaster to replace tail light bulb?
By "rear door" I assume you have a wagon. There is a wing nut behind the cargo areas in the back. You need to remove the cargo cover and look behind the light. remove the wing nut and pull the light straight out. Watch out for the reverse light, the cable is pretty short.
