What are your thoughts on a 1994 Buick LeSabre?

I have a choice between a 1994 Buick LeSabre with the 3.8 V6 which has 120k on the car, the car itself is beautiful, no rust, completely beautiful. And I could also pick a 1991 Ford Taurus, with 110k on the car and a little bit of rust but not too bad. The Buick is for $1100 and the Taurus is for $800. I have $1500 available to spend but don't want to have all of that stuck into repairs. What should I get????What are your thoughts on a 1994 Buick LeSabre?You did not say what size engine the Ford has.



The Buick is a well built car and worth the money - but will still drink gas like a drunk. the Ford may or may not depends on the engine. The Ford has a history of annoying problems, not fatal. Buicks are pretty durable vehicles. get the buick!!What are your thoughts on a 1994 Buick LeSabre?i have had three cars with the 3.8. they are a great engine. the transmissions tend to be weak but parts are readily available cheaply at junkyards. the taurus in my opinion is junk. ive been in the junkyard business for 17 years. we cant keep taurus parts becuase the fail so often. i would go with the lesabre. p.s. my lesabre has 267000 miles on it .What are your thoughts on a 1994 Buick LeSabre?
