Where is the diagnostic socket for an Audi TT located?

Ichecked under the instrument panel for minutes to no avail.Where is the diagnostic socket for an Audi TT located?Look under the dash panel, just above the bonnet openin麓g lever at the left hand side, near the driver left foot position you should find it there, normally violet color socket.Cheers!
