i have a 93 lesabre try autozone.com, they have tutorials, then you can decide for yourself, but it cost me around 100 bucks to have someone do it for me in a couple of hours..it was worth avoiding the hassle for me....How hard and is it worth it to change my own waterpump in a 1992 Buick Century?not hard at all maybe a 30 min. job Lots cheaper too I dunno of any links but you can go an AutoZone type store and buy a Chilton or Haynes manual on the car for like 15 bucks still cheaper than paying someone to do it for youHow hard and is it worth it to change my own waterpump in a 1992 Buick Century?
If you are mechanically inclined at all it is very easy. When you remove the old one you will have learned how to install it. Just the reverse of removing it. Make sure you clean the gasket area well. Place the new one on that comes with the pump then install the bolts and tighten one at a time opposite each other until tight.
