I have changed out my alternator, battery and took my starter off got it checked at Auto zone it came back being good. I have also changed my batter cable out as well but something keep pulling my battery down. This is my second battery already this week.What is making my battery drain so fast in my 1985 Buick Lesabre?If you have checked and cleaned the connections on the starter, I think it's a live/positive short.
Unless the original radio is in there, remove the deck and look for a bare wire that is shorting out.What is making my battery drain so fast in my 1985 Buick Lesabre?did you check to see if anything is staying lit like maybe the trunk light for example. you could also have a short in 1 of the battery cables too.What is making my battery drain so fast in my 1985 Buick Lesabre?Ask Autozone if that year of LeSabre has an external voltage regulator or if it is in the alternator.If it is external,maybe its in disrepair.Is your alternator belt tight enough?
