After taking my 99 Buick to the Shop for a car state inspection my electric windows no longer work?

They were working fine before taking it to the shop. What could of went wrong for my windows to all of a sudden not work also I have now my check engine light is on after I left. My car needs a new singnal light switch. If they wiggles wires or bumped something loose it may be linked to the fuse realy box under the hood. I would check the connections there, not sure which vehicle you have though or i would show you where it is. The check engine light can be linked to the wiring as well. These "brains" are really becoming a tiresome problem with vehicles. Have you contacted the inspection facility? They may have an idea as well. The signal light switch may be best purchased at rockauto.com. If you need, i can point you in the right direction but i need to know the vehicle model and trim package. Best luck.
