How much will it cost to swap a 327 V8 into an 84 Buick Regal?

I have the transmission and engine - I am just looking for labor estimates. The engine mounts look identical and it should be a clean swap. However, I've been told I might need a new drive shaft.How much will it cost to swap a 327 V8 into an 84 Buick Regal?This swap is very simple. If your using the orig. trans then the drive shaft should be an issue, if your swapping the trans from a donor car then you'll need to make sure the splines match up. Not a big deal,



labor cost? you can pay easy $500-$1k at a repair shop or speed shop. This all can be done in your driveway or garage if you have, Just need a engine hoist, jack stands, floor jacks.(rentals) Your basic mechanics tool set and 8hrs and cold drinks. What I'm saying is save the mony and knock it out yourself (only if your a wrench turner)
