I live in Virginia and is traveling to Florida. The car has 112,000 miles on it. Do you think it will get me home safe?Do you think a 99 Buick Century could survive a road trip to Florida and back?Wow... this is a tough question.
You cannot rely on anything any of us say, as none of us will know the exact dependability of the vehicle, and I would hate to see you take such a trip on my advice, and end up broke down somewhere in between destinations.
If you question it at all... have a safety inspection done before your trip... that is never a bad idea. I would not let the mileage of the car scare you, but there are many things that can go wrong.
- Good Luck!Do you think a 99 Buick Century could survive a road trip to Florida and back?
Without knowing anything about the vehicle, I can't really say. If it's been well maintained and had all the scheduled maintenance, it shouldn't have any problems. However, if you're worried, take it to your mechanic and have him (or her) check it out first.Do you think a 99 Buick Century could survive a road trip to Florida and back?depends on what maintenance you have done to it, especially recently.
usually though, when someone asks this question they already have doubts due to past car history and the answer winds up being no.
If it is in good running order and has been all it's life, sure. If in doubt, take it to a shop and have them give it the once over.Do you think a 99 Buick Century could survive a road trip to Florida and back?It all depends upon the condition of the vehicle. Have an ASE certified mechanic give it an inspection. Ask for the ASE credentials, don't just take somebodys word for it that they are certified.Do you think a 99 Buick Century could survive a road trip to Florida and back?
There is no way to know. Taking it to a shop to get checked out is a good idea but even then it's not for sure you won't have any trouble. There are so many things that can fail that can't be checked by a technician. Not wanting to scare you out of your trip but nobody even the best mechanic in the world can't tell you you won't have any trouble.
just get a tune up before you go and take it easy, all should be fineDo you think a 99 Buick Century could survive a road trip to Florida and back?
If Its in Good Shape, There Shouldn't Be a Problem; It's Highway driving, with very few Stops %26amp; Starts....!!
Get it checked out by a trustworthy mechanic before going on ANY road trips. Also make sure your spare tire is inflated properly and get yourself a blanket, road flairs and a flashlight, some snack food and water bottles...Maybe a thing of pepper spray while your at it.
fk the inspection, waste of money.. i mean thats a question u have to answer yourself, does the car overheat?? thats the most important thing, does it have problems starting up? if no, then go for it!
