How far does the oil pressure sensor screw in on a 92 Buick Roadmaster?

It looks like oil is leaking from the oil pressure sensor around where the threads screw into the engine block. The threads are a little over half way screwed into the block. I can feel the threads when i reach up to touch it. Are they supposed to screw all the into the block where i cant feel the threads anymore. Also the oil pressure sensor comes new with this red stuff on part of the threads. Should I use it like this, or put teflon tape around the threads? Thanks and any help appreciated. How far does the oil pressure sensor screw in on a 92 Buick Roadmaster?Put a wrench on it %26amp; see if it's tight. If it's snug, don't over do it. Get a roll of teflon thread-sealing tape at a plumbing place, remove the sensor, %26amp; wrap about two or three layers of teflon right over the threads. Put it back in %26amp; see if that cures the drip....How far does the oil pressure sensor screw in on a 92 Buick Roadmaster? That red stuff is probably anti-seize and I would wipe if off and put on teflon tape and when you screw it in using a wrench, I would usually tighten with only one pinkie as tight as tight as I can.
If you can overtighten it with a pinkie, you're a big man. LOLHow far does the oil pressure sensor screw in on a 92 Buick Roadmaster? The original sensor does will show threads when fully tight. Put the new one in and there is no need to put teflon tape on it as the red stuff you see will seal it.
