The security light is flashing on my 1995 Buick LeSabre. Does anyone know how to reset this passkey function?

I have tried disconnecting the battery, locking and unlocking the doors and other various suggestions. I even tried the spare key. Apparently there is a procedure to clear this error, but, my local Buick dealer won't tell me.

If the light is flashing, most likely the 2 wires for the Passkey are about to break in 2 which once they do, it WILL NOT START AGAIN!!!!!!!

I suggest you take it to the dealership %26amp; have them repair it now while you can still drive it, remember, tow bills are expensive!!! It's a lot cheaper to drive it there then for the tow company to drag it there for you!!!!

The reason why the dealership wont tell you because there is no way possible to clear it without repairing the problem that is causing it which your ignition cylinder needs to be replaced!!!!!!

ALSO!!!!!!!!!! LEt me give you a little bit of advice here about that so called B.S. fix in that link above, I just spent over an hour removing that crap from my wife's trailblazer because some clown installed that crap for her security light, I went back to stock with the wiring %26amp; replaced the ignition cylinder %26amp; fixed it. fix it right the first time, dont buy into that aftermarket crap that 6 months down the road you'll end up taking to a dealership because that crap failed %26amp; now they have to fix your problem with that aftermarket bypass crap %26amp; then fix your original problem.
