Will i be able to drop a chevy 350 in from a 93 buick into my 94 gmc sierra 1500?
The 5.7 L 350 in my 94 gmc sierra blew and I'm looking to drop in a new one. I found a 5.7 L 350 at the salvage yard that's in good condition with 70k miles. The engine is from a buick car and I'm wondering if ill be able to drop this in my truck. Is the bolt pattern the same as the sierras? Will i be able to drop a chevy 350 in from a 93 buick into my 94 gmc sierra 1500?Buick, oldsmobile, and pontiac share bell housing bolt patterns. Chevy and GMC are interchangeable with each other. You would be able to use the engine with a transmission adapter. Finding the adapters could be hard and quite expensive. Chevy and GMC 350s are everywhere, just keep looking for one of them. Will i be able to drop a chevy 350 in from a 93 buick into my 94 gmc sierra 1500?It should work fine. The 93 Buick Roadmaster used the same engine and even the same fuel injection system as the trucks.nada boats
