How to check a crank and cam sensor in a 89 Buick lesabre?

I want to buy a car but it just turns over and I don't want to put a lot of money into it to get it to work. I kinda don't want to work on it there and get it run and have him charge me more. What's the ohms I'm looking for and where on the crank sensor do I have to put the leads to the ohm meter? How to check a crank and cam sensor in a 89 Buick lesabre?just because it won,t start don,t have to be the sensors. maybe it,s the fuel filter, fuel pump or relay or fuse. i would,nt assume it,s the cam or crank sensor until you check other stuff too like what i said. i have a 88 oldsmobile and i can tell you the fact if the module goes then you can crank all day and it won,t start. in case you don,t know where it is, it,s under the coil pack. How to check a crank and cam sensor in a 89 Buick lesabre?car will still start with bad cam sensor; it will have to crank for a long time though. Crank sensors go bad commonly on those. But it may also be another problem like module or timing chain. also common failures on those

hook up scanner and look for any RPM signal to check crank sensor
